| Removing a Warwick satin finish?

My ash bodied '05 Warwick Corvette has a tobacco satin finish which shows off the wood nicely but it is a very lightweight finish. Has anyone experience of removing these satin finishes?
I'm quite happy to spend a long while removing it but is it just a sanding job or does it need chemicals? Does the tobacco satin finish stain the wood? Certainly where it has rubbed off and where there is a tiny dink on the back it shows light wood colour.
Another time I would save the money! |
