Hello building&repairing gurus,
I bought a guitar with a floyd rose off a japanese auction. It turned out to be loosely modded. The older type 1-piece mounting stud that was screwed directly into the wood was replaced with a 2-piece item (as in the pic attached, part F replaced with parts D&E). http://www.floydrose.com/authentic_parts/
The mounting stud insert (part E) is supposed to be fixed in the body wood, but actually isn't as the holes are just a bit wide, and , when using the tremelo, string tension pulls them out of the wood.
Other than filling the holes altogether and redrilling them, what should I use to glue the part? Epoxy with wood dust? Please don't use trade names if possible as they could differ in this country.
