repair price question!

Sign in to disble this ad
I've got myself an ibanez sr505 in which the 23 fret is raised across the whole fretboard.

For how much can I expect a repair tech to fix it?

Or should I just attempt to fix it myself?

thanks

best case scenario...you can press the fret back in yourself and hope it seats properly.

worst case scenario...a qualified repair shop can re-seat the old one if it's not damaged or replace the fret with a new one and seat and dress it accordingly.

that should only cost bench time, about an hour ...whatever that is in your area.
plus the cost of a single fret
