Repairs in CT

Just picked up a used bass that needs some looking after...
97 Brubaker Lexa 4 that was previously owned by J Abercrombie of Fuel... seems like the truss rod is stuck cause I can't adjust the neck relief; i'm trying to flatten it a bit before i set the intonation. The screw head is a bit worn by the previous owner/tech so in not going to force it. Any pros that can take a look?

That was me. Just thought it might get more action here...

And I should add that I've had good results using Paul Neri in Clinton as well as the guy at Guitar Hangar in Danbury.

Haven't used, but was favorably impressed by paul von schmidt at the guitar hangar after talking to and watching him work.

Personally, found it worthwhile to make the drive up to Boston area for Mouradian in Winchester for delicate work on expensive insruments; however, Boston and Danbury are equal rides for me. I wouldn't worry about leaving a $4000+ bass at the Guitar Hangar if I needed to, like I would the local shop.

Up here in NH, if you want to make the drive, Pat Diburro is the best of the best. He's in Exeter NH, his site is diburro.com. Not affiliated, just a fan. He's the coolest and the best but sounds like he is 2-2.5 hours away from you. Being said, he's a magician.
