Replace this bridge with a badass?

Hey all, another hardware question that I couldn't find after searching. I have a bass with a bridge like this (not gold, though):

* WD Music Products - 5 STRING BASS BRIDGE GOLD

It has 6 screw holes where it lines up to the body. I want to replace the stock bridge with a Badass V, but am not sure if it'll work. Does anyone know if I can replace this bridge with a Badass or something similar?

Yeah...why?

IMO, the only reason you should change a bridge is because what you already have is too hard to adjust or broken. I went down the "maybe this high mass bridge will change my tone/sustain" road several times and came out very disappointed...and lighter in the wallet.

Oh, yeah. Forgot to mention, I'm looking to change all of my black hardware to gold hardware. Also, I live in Japan so if I get a new one of those bridges I'll have to order it from the States, whereas I can just find a badass here without too much problem. But thanks for answering my question

You're right though. There's nothin' wrong with my bridge tonewise
