Replace chrome knobs on VM 70s Jazz

I'd like to replace the chrome knobs on my VM jazz with the usual black ones. Is this a matter of just buying them, popping off the old ones and putting the new ones on? or would i need to replace the pots?

Likely same size pots as the standard fender pots. I'd imagine you can just pop them off and put the new ones on.

Just "pop" them off. I got these, and they fit perfectly on my VM Jazz (second ones from the left, the Jazz Bass Import knobs)
