Replace traditional tree with rollers?

I'm replacing the machine heads on my Fury 2. Changing to a chrome finish. Of course, I need a new tree to match, and I've never been crazy about the round disk style tree's. I think they look kinda goofy. So I've thought about going with a guitar-style roller T. Assuming dimensions are all good, are there any problems with going with a roller instead of a disk?

Should be no problem at all. I installed this one on my Yamaha BB414 with no issues whatsoever.

I replaced the tree on my SX with a roller from Stewmac. It works much better, the SX tree liked to eat strings.
