Replacement truss rod nut for Squier (MIK)

Firstly, hello all, and thank you for being such an awesome resource for a beginner.

I have a Squier Pro-Tone PJ (Cort '97) as my first ever bass, and I love it. Unfortunately, the truss rod nut came nearly stripped (hex portion), and I'd like to replace the nut before it strips entirely.
It currently has a bullet style nut with a (what used to be) 4mm hex hole. I've read that since it's a Korean squier the threading should be metric.

Can anyone confirm that and point me to a source for these parts? I've found basspartsresource but am not sure which of the several nuts would fit the bill. Better yet, is there a way to get a spare locally?
