| replacement tuners NEED help

hey any help on this would be greatly appreciated,
I have schaller BML light tuners on my bass right now, They have a 17 mm hole...i really don't like how they look, so I want to get a set of Hipshot ultralights, now i know i am going to need to get some wood filler and fill the holes the BML lights leave behind, but fortunately the Hipshots screw holes are on the opposite side of where the schaller holes are, so struturally I should be okay...however the big concern is the headstock hole. The schallers are 17mm where as the Hipshots are 9.5mm...i am pretty much just SOL on this one? or can any one suggest a set of Lollipop tuners that would fit that gauge? Thanks! |
