Replacing frets with jumbos

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a Lakland 5501 and was wondering if you can replace these frets with jumbos or medium jumbos. I had a Music Man Sterling and got used to the frets on that which i think (correct me if I am wrong) are jumbos. I don't know much in this area so it might be a silly idea!!!

Cheers!

You should be able to have any size frets you want installed on the neck. Be aware that you might have to replace, or at least shim-up, the nut as well, to match the new bigger frets...
