Replacing Internals

my bass is having some problems
one knob doesnt work at all, one only works when its turned all the way up, and another only works sometimes. im getting them replaced, but im wondering if i should do it myself or get it professionally done, cause i dont wanna screw this up. also should i get the pickups replaced to? or is it jsut the connection. help please.

It's pretty easy to re-wire your tone and volume pots, assuming you're not color-blind, have steady hands, and can get the schematics for the pick ups in your bass.

A good soldering iron, too.
