Replacing Neck on Ibanez SRX2EX1

I have an Ibanez SRX2EX1. Some d!ckhead (for lack of a better word) sold me an Ibanez SRX2EX1 with a pre-amp built in. Unfortunately, it turns out that the truss rod nut was stripped and over-tightened. After going to several repair shops, I learned that there was nothing I could do. We used EZ-Outs, Larger Allen Wrenches, drill bits, the whole 9 yards. Even when we got a tight fit, whenever we tried to take out the stripped nut, the metal was stripped even more. So I've decided to buy a new neck. My question is, Can I put a different sound gear neck on the SRX2EX1. For example, Can I get a SR400QM neck on the SRX2EX1 if they are the same size and have the same amount of strings?
