Here's a bad photo of a bass I slapped together a year or two ago. The body was from an Epiphone EB-3 whose neck was snapped. I carved out a neck cavity by hand & wood chisel, then bolted on an SX neck. The pickup is an active EMG musicman-style humbucker. Besides the obviously predictable neck dive it plays pretty nice & sounds great!
