Looking to restring my Warwick. I have never restrung an instrument before and can find lots of articles online with the correct methods etc. However my question is for those of you who have restrung your instruments. Is it just a simple string swap or will I have to adjust the bridge the trus rod etc etc etc? Thanks

Yeah wrong forum Jay. It should be a simple string swap though. If you have never changed strings then I would go to my local (trustworthy) music store and ask them to look at the bass (the bow on the neck specifically, if there is one) because that would require a truss rod adjustment. Buy the set of strings from them, and ask them to show you how to change the strings. Most of the time a nut is changed if it is broken (or if you want another one for a specific reason, ex. you like the sound of a brass one).

Whether you'll need to adjust the truss rod or the saddles for either action or intonation depends entirely upon how much the new strings match the old ones. Even the exact same gauge of strings from different makers can vary enough to require adjustments. Not a big deal if you understand basic physics and how an electric bass operates.
