Ric help!!!!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
I posted this in another forum, but realized this was probably a better forum for my question. So I apologize for repeating this.
I just removed the pick-up cover on my ric 4003. I like the sound I get from it but I have a problem. With it gone there is alot of space exposed and when i pluck the strings my fingers hit the sharp corners of the pick up frame. Does anyone know if there is a frame ric makes that will let me put it on and close the gap around the pick-up? Thanks.

Pickguardian makes a plate that fits into the void - check that out.

As I cuddled the porcupine he said I had none to blame, but me.

I love a lot of what pickguardian does but the replacement plate for the Ric is kinda ugly. I simply take a dremmel tool and smooth down the 4 sharp corners exposed on the 4003. It takes 5 minutes and it works fine. It doesn't change the look and it can save your fingers.
