Rickenbacker 4001 jack plate

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi all,
I'm getting ready to sell some parts of a '78 4001 (acquired from a project gone awry). I have the jack plate to verify date of the bass that the parts came from, but I feel that ethically I should not include the jack plate to prevent forgery, or misrepresentation of a bass that it is not original to.
Am I correct in this concern?
Thank you

Sounds like a good idea, who knows, forgery or not someone may end up with it on their Ric and get misled into believing it's different from what they actually have.

Thanks for the reply. The more I think about it, the more it seems obvious.
