Rickenbacker Hipshot bridge saddle.

Sign in to disble this ad
So i have this G-string saddle on my Rick's Hipshot bridge always moving. It might be just a dud bridge. There's a space between the saddle and the bridge so when you hit the string relativly hard-- it'll move. I'm thinking of things to stick in it to null the void. I've found a pick works...

And since i use pick and fingering, i think i've finally found a place to put my pick on my Rick!!!!!

MY EYES!! Dude, fix those pic please!

I have one of those Hipshot bridges. I had it on my blue Ric for a day or two. I had the saddle wiggle problem too. I worked with it for a while adjusting the height screws while gently pushing down on it. I got it to settle in to a good spot after a while and it was fine after that. If I had stuck a pick in there it would have unsettled it again though.

Yeah the height adjustment screws. The height screws are sort of flat bottomed, but the groove is pretty round. It looks like the last thread on the screw messes with you if it isn't turned just the right way. The third screw adjusts your string spacing.

See, they put a square peg in a round hole for us!
