Rickenbacker Truss Rod Cover-where to buy?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm very interested in a 4003 which is neck and body only. I can source pups, bridge, tuners etc quite easily but not too sure about the truss rod cover. Can anybody point me in the right direction please?

I believe that the only way to acquire a Rick TRC is to send Rickenbacker your old/broken one... which you don't have.

Keeps people from buying them and slapping them on Fakenbackers, but it hurts guys like you that just don't have them.

I may be mistaken, though. But I was pretty sure that the only way to get one is by a one-for-one replacement.
It would be worth it to sign onto the Rick forums and ask John Hall, the CEO.

You can find used ones on the evil auction site, but they're very pricey.
