Rickenbacker Truss Rod Wrench

I need to buy a truss rod wrench fior my Ric 4003. I checked the Ric web site and I'm not sure which of their tools is the correct one. Their customer service didn't respond to my email message. Can anyone advise which is the correct tool?

Just go to the hdwe store, and buy a 1/4" nut driver. (looks like a screw driver) That's what Ric will sell you for more $$, there's are Excelite long handled nut drivers, nothing special. Just don't use anything that will give more tourque than this tool. like a socket wrench, and you'll be fine.

it's a 1/4" nut driver. the rickenbacker part is 97002, but you should be able to find the same sort of tool at home depot. make sure you get one that's deep enough to get a good grip on the truss rod nuts, or you're going to round them off!
