Cool Routing & Installation in a Geddy Lee Jazz

Sign in to disble this ad
Has anyone on this thread done any routing and/or pickup installation on the Fender GL model? I have a GK-3B pickup from Roland and since it is an additional pickup and not a replacement, I'm going to need to route it into the body, just below the bridge pickup (it's skinny but longer than the stock pickups).

Even if you have not done this work, I'm curious to hear thoughts on whether this is a bad idea and could change the tone or weight balance much and if it's worth it?

Thanks guys...
