Question Sadowsky MV5 B String Issues...

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey, I bought a Sadowsky MV5 and I'm having issues with my B String. For some reason, the presence of the B string isn't as strong as the rest of the bass. I've tried the following:
  • .125 and .130 Guage strings
  • I've had the bass set up twice
  • tried to set it up myself
  • adjusted pickup height
  • adjusted string height (which did get rid of the buzzing)
  • adjusted the truss rod
  • tapered B String (which also helped a lot)

So now, if any of you have any comments or advice (even if I've attempted the advice you would like to give) please help me. The tone of the bass is great. I also have a MV5-24 which has the best B-String I've ever played in my life.

Both the necks are the same length. Help... Anybody?

I would email Roger. He's really cool.

Maybe adjust your EQ?
