| Sadowsky NYC original specs: what does this measurement mean?

Hi Sad guys - I'm just looking for confirmation on something. I sent Kevin at Sadowsky a serial number on an NYC I'm looking at and he came back with the information that the bass has a "Slightly reshaped neck -- .83 to .91 in thickness"
I play a Fender USA reproduction of the original Jazz bass, so you guys will know what I'm used to.
Is Kevin referring to the radius here? Usually, radii measurements don't look like this, do they? They're 10" or 7.5" or whatever. If anyone can tell me what exactly this means, whether it's a type of radius measurement or whether it's some other measure of neck 'thickness'. Maybe straight through the neck from back to front at the nut?
Thanks for any guidance on this
