The one I had on a bass broke pretty quickly after the bass was done. That was the only time that I used this bridge.
It looked good though, and at the end that is what really matters, no?

I have one, and I honestly have no idea what could have broken on cnltb's bridge. The parts are steel, and fairly thick, and seem well-made. There's no part that seems like it would be subject to breaking--except the set screws. And of course breaking a set screw is not the same as breaking the bridge.

the intonation screws broke.
When they were replaced the saddles came apart after which the set screws broke and the back plate bent( the backplace bent early on )

FWIW, I've got a gold 2000 5 string model on my Stambaugh. I've had no problems during the 7 or so years I've had it and it's held up fine.

Here's a pic of it on my bass.

I'm not sure if it will be a direct fit for the MMV, but the string spacing is adjustable which may help. Schaller has a diagram on it's site which may help you determine if it will work.

Nice Bass!...thank you for your comment. I put Schaller bridge useing metric screws in to holes for "string through body"...so no extra holes but if I'll find that Schaller 2000 is bridge I want I fix it better...I had gig tonight with that bridge but it was in new place ...anyway I was happy with my sound tonight. Well I have to play in club which I know well with mine WA combo than I can make decision

Schaller 2000 vs. Fender stock vs. Hipshot A style/brass

I made some audio files with Schaller 2000 bridge...I can say I like this bridge, Fender is more organic but little "empty". There is little compression with Schaller but is fuller, tight, less higs...I want to try Hipshot B style and Hipshot Vintage in future but I feel I stay with the Schaller 2000
