Schaller 3D-4 and 3D-8 saddles: Interchangeable?

Does anyone know if the saddles for the Schaller 3D-4 and 3D-8 bridges (or the Warmoth versions 463/471) are interchangeable? By the looks of the technical drawings the two products seem to be identical other than the difference between the ferrule on the 4 and the two adjustable pieces on the 8, so it would seem so. Figured I'd ask around here before emailing the manufacturer.

I emailed Schaller directly with an inquiry about this, no response yet. Little bump, hoping someone has had some experience with this.
