Help!

I need a screw and spring for a Schaller 463 4-String Roller Bass Bridge in chrome. This is the length adjustment screw and spring.

Anyone got some parts laying around?!

Thanks!

Here is a pic of the screw and spring that I need. The parts JLS has aren't quite right, but thanks JLS for trying to help. Hopefully someone else has the correct screw and spring.

Let me know if you got em!

Just went to the hardware store to see if I could find a temporary fix. It looks like this screw is a 6-40. All the hardware store had was a 6-32 but the thread was too coarse. They did have a small 6-40 set screw that seemed to fit but of course that was too short. The metrics didn't work either as it's between a 3 and a 4.

So it looks like it's a 6-40 at just a tad over 1 inch long.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

More research has provided a definitive answer!! The Schaller website lists two different screws and springs for use on the "3D-4" Bridge. A longer M3.5X28 screw and spring for the "D" and "G" saddle and a shorter M3.5X23 screw and spring for the "E" and "A" saddle. Makes sense to be metric as it is a German made bridge and it was between the 3 and 4 sizes I found at the hardware store. Thus it is not a 6-40 screw as previously thought.

The one I'm missing is the shorter M3.5X23 screw and spring. The photo shows the longer one. I didn't even figure there where 2 sizes until I removed all the screws and found that I had 2 longer ones and one shorter one.

Anyways, if anyone has a line on a Schaller M3.5X23 screw and spring for a "3D-4" Bridge please get back to me.

Thanks!
