Schaller deluxe lite tuner part

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello everyone,
Anybody know of a sorce to get replacment parts for Schaller tuners? I need two tension screws that fell out.
What I have is the fender deluxe lite tuners on my Jazz bass, the ones with the black plastic worm gear covers, and the tension screws screw into the ends of the worm gear.
Thanks Eno

contact fender directly; that's a common problem with those keys, so they might have some replacement parts. the screw is hard to find a replacement for, but that little metal bushing around it that also falls out is impossible to find.

once you get them, and in the mean time with your other keys, back the screws out a bit, and drip a little loc-tite in there before re-tightening them. (adjust the screw so the key turns smoothly but not stiffly; the loc-tite will hold it there once it hardens.)
