Schecter truss rod stripped

Sign in to disble this ad
So it turns out the Allen truss rod nut on my Schecter Diamond J bass is stripped. Are there any easy remidies for this? I've seen a couple tools offered by Stewart MacDonald but have no clue what size would do the trick, any suggestions?

Aha, what a surprise.

Have you tried measuring your truss rod nut? Or do you know what size allen wrench you had been using. Those fixes usually stay within the standard allen wrench sizes.

I've been working on my friend's A7 Diamond Series guitar and was surprised to learn that it is all metric

Just FYI.
