Is the screw stripped or the screwhole itself? Or did you damage the head?

The head was stripped beyond repair and I luckly got it out but only by twisting the screw. I still have both parts of it.

AllParts sells 2 buttons and 2 screws for $4, or you could probably call them and have them sell you just the screws.

You can also contact Dunlop for replacements.

I have a few non-Dunlop strap button screws that you may have. The thread size should be comparable but, as MNAH pointed out, the head diameter is too large to fit within the button recess. Own a Dremel tool? If you grind down the shoulder a bit, the screw will fit perfectly. I have one "real" Dunlop screw which shows some head wear. I'd be glad to grind a single slot (accommodates a FH screwdriver) and send that along, as well.
