Question SD Pickups and Badass Bridge

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys! I'm new to this forum. I don't see answers about my question so I thought I'd throw this out. A couple of days I bought some Seymour Duncan Pickups SPB3 for my Fender Precision Bass and liked them alot. Today I decided to get a Badass Bridge II to go along with it. Great tone now and all. One thing that is happening now though ist that the low E string seems to be the loudest string when I play. I know that the Badass Bridge brings out more attack and it's not really a noticeable thing, but to me it is. I was wondering if I've done something wrong when setting this up? Could it be the pickups or both. I'm pretty new to modifications as this the first time I've done anything to my Fender other than put mandolin frets on it. Anything input would be appreciated! Thanks!

I have the same set-up on a sx p-bass! I encounter the same problem until i adjusted the pickup height a tad to match the volume with the other strings. I hope this helps!!

SD Pickups and Badass Bridge

Yeah, I thought that might be the way to go about it first. I'll look into it and see if that works out. Thanks for the quick reply.
