well
i have to admit this bass has been good to me
i learnt on it, its had its fair share of problems
but its good
it has a cracked headstock from a gig
abd three pretty bad humbuckers
but i have no clue how to change em
youll see why when you look at the pics
what can do to this bass
to improve its sound
or even just improve it

Take the bass to a local luthier and they'll get it repaired the way you want. replace the electronics to get a "better" sound if you need to...fairly cheap...that looks like it would be a fun project bass.

You have Mosrite styled pickups, look on eBay for Eastwood pickups, they are the same size. They are longer, wider and weirder sounding. Dunno about Perth...look online, there has to be someone who fiddles with wood.
