Setting up bass

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey there, my bass is buzzing alot on the frets, even the first fret.. How do I fix this? How do I know to tighten or loosen the truss rod? Or to adjust the saddle height?

Thanks so much.

First I'd suggest filling out your profile so that we can get an idea of where you are coming from, let alone what kind of bass we are talking about.

Then I'd tell you to use the search feature to browse the forum, as this question has undoubtedly been asked and answered before. That being said you can also find this information easily with a simple google search-I know thats how I first learned the basics of set-ups.

However something is telling me that you might be just as well off taking your bass to a local tech to get a set-up done...

EDIT: Damn I got beat to the punch...
