What adjustments need to be done to my 5 string to put a high c string on? I'm assuming new nut and some truss rod adjustments. Is there anything I need to be careful of?
I didn't adjust my nut or anything . . . I just strung it up, tweaked the truss rod (it only needed about 1/8 of a turn) and set the intonation.
I'm sure there's a sticky about setting your intonation.
Caveat: Be careful! High C tuning is dangerous territory, I had a bartender come over and "complement" my playing last weekend by saying I sounded like a guitarist on my solos . . . kinda freaked me out . . .
