setup for tight-ier low end?

hi!

i was wondering what modification can i do in the setup of my bass for having a more tight low end.

is there anything i can do with pickup heigh or strings heigh?

well ,thanks for any input!

you need to be more specific
what bass are you using, 4-5-6 strings and what scale
string set might be the issue for you as well

i have a lakland 4-94 and i use GHS;s 0.40.

i find the bass to be exelente exept for the low end, which is a little floofy and muddy..... any input is welcomed!

Try some higher gage strings, or at least higher gage low end, that helped me. I got a set of DR hi-beams .30-.135 (six string), tighten up my low end.

Now I have a 55-01 w/NTMB-L, so it's not exactly like yours'.
But I changed the dip switches to 250 HZ and boast the mids a little, that has helped tighten the lows, more like kick drum punch with all strings. I also put TI Jazz Flats on it, that has also tightened up the lows.
