Setup Tools for someone new to tweaking!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi

I have researched the correct way to setup my Fender/Stingray basses, and now I feel confident on trying this out to tweak to my spec.

I've been playing for a long time. It's about time I set these basses up myself!

So I have the knowledge, now I need quality tools.

Would any care to help out with what's best to buy? I'm UK based btw.

I'm thinking of the Cruztools Bass Setup kit that comes with, what seems like, everything.

Please advise

Allen wrenches. Lots of allen wrenches. And screwdrivers.
A set of allens and my leatherman core let me set up my bass quite nicely.

Google'd the kit you mentioned, it looks pretty nice. Go for it IMO.

Check out Stewart McDonald at www.stewmac.com
They have any tool you might posibly need, and then some. Can be expensive, though

I'm gonna resurrect this thread with a question:

Is there some place else I can find the tools Stew Mac sells for a better price? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
