Sheehan style Scalloping?

How would one go about scalloping just the D&G strings? Or would it just be more advisable to go with a EADG scallop on 17-20?

Well on his original P-bass he did it with a dremel, and I'm sure that'd work just fine if you made some kind of jig. He did it by hand but it looks sloppy if you ask me.

handy with woodwork.
