Should I Remodel?

Sign in to disble this ad
So I haven't touched my first bass in about 5 years since i got my MIM P, thing is nobody would have wanted to touch her, short scale bass by a company called Memphis, but the neck is warped beyond all things holy and the strings look like they are lying along the neck with the action raised to the max or close to it.

Anyways since it's just been sitting there and i get bored often, I wanted to know if it would be worth it to mod the hell out of it. Somehow get another shortscale neck, it's a screw in (but could i just glue one in anyway if i didn't care?) I'd also want to sand out a little bit of wood behind the back pup and take out the pups that are in there and put in a seymour duncan MM pup in it's place.

I think it'd be a pretty cool project, think it'd be worth it or possible at all? Thanks for thoughts / suggestions / opinions
