Side-to-side saddle adjustment??

Sign in to disble this ad
The seller of this bridge claims there's side-to-side string spacing adjustment for this Hipshot bridge.

"Hipshot SuperTone features complete adjustability that is easy to use: precise intonation, independent string height, and even side- to- side string spacing adjustment. Most important of all, TONE, PUNCH and SUSTAIN that will knock your socks off!"

Im not seeing it. Could someone tell me if its possible for side-to-side adjustment on this bridge? Or is the seller just blowing smoke?

The saddle (the black part with the groove) will move side-to side and is locked down with its own hex (grub) screw. The saddle is a barrel and slides back and forth in the shaft.

See the three set screws on each saddle?
The single rear one is used to set the string spacing. Loosen it and slide the grooved bar left or right and lock it down. Works great.
Hipshot's are the great bridges and the ONLY bridge to have on a Gibson or Epi

+1

That looks like the model I put on a T-Bird once. Very nice indeed.
