Which Size Replacement Bridge...

Hello all. I posted a while back about replacing the bridge of my Ibanez K5, and I did take the advice of whoever posted back about replacing it with a Hipshot A Style bridge (thank you....um....whoever you were... ). I posted that a while back, but I'm now actually doing something about buying one now. Anyway, I've just got one last question here, and that is what string spacing size will be a direct fit on the K5? I was thinking it was probably the .669 string spacing, since it was the smallest. The only thing is that the baseplate measurements of the bridge on the site and the measurements of the bridge on my K5 aren't that exact. Am I just being too anal about this, or is there no direct replacement except for another Ibanez bridge, or am I just a dumb@$$ (bingo)? So yeah, bring on the answer wave.

The major factor you should be looking at is the screw hole spacing, the baseplate size shouldnt matter as long as the holes in your bridge line up with the holes in your K5 body.

With the string spacing, many 5 string bridges will have a string spacing close enough to your current bridge that you may not even notice a difference.

Yay. Thanks for responding! Also, thanks for showing my foolish ways. I am now knowlegdable enough to know that my worries were in vain. I shall now purchase my bridge. ...ha ha...alright thanks!
