Question snapped off..

so i had my bass leaning against a chair, and then i walked into the chair by accident, and the bass fell over and it snapped the tuner for my d string off. is there any way to repair this?

Need more specifics, is it the tuner button that has snapped or the post. Although really in either case i would just replace the tuner(s), ask the local guitar shop they probably have a few tuners and might have an odd one that matches to save you buying a whole new set. If it was vintage and unusual i may attempt a repair of some kind. Check the headstock well to make sure there isnt any splits in the wood.
