Some questions about d tuner and badass II

Sign in to disble this ad
1. can a badass II fit a yamaha attitude? Its built kinda like a Pbass, or is the Badass II for jazz only?

2. How will the bridge change the tone, sustain, balance etc.? Is it worth the money to change my bridge if theres nothing wrong with it?

3. Is a D tuner hard to change? say I wanna replace my old tuners....also, how does a d tuner work? Thanks

Badass II is intended to mount with the five in line Fender mounting holes as done on vintage style precision and jazz basses. If your current bridge mounting holes do not line up, you can drill more holes. The Badass II is also intended to sit on top of the bass body (no routing underneath the bridge). Not sure if any rounting has been done on the Yamaha or not.

The Badass should b able to add more sustain to your bass tone. It is also said to increase the attack and also the harmonics of it. I would go for it anytime. How much are they in Singapore?

Not hard. Just make sure you get the right one for your bass. You only need it for the E string to drop to a D. Use regular tuners (hipshot has some) for the other 3 tuners.
Just remove the nut on top and any screws on bottom. It comes with easy to understand instructions for setting up and using it. It works by having two settings, E and say D so when you pull it's lever it loosens the string down to D (assuming you have it adjusted to D).
