something a little different.....

I want to swap out my string tree, its the chrome disc type, anyone done something different for a string tree thats out of the ordinary?

The string tree on my P is a strap button with a washer on it, and a string-through furrel off of an old ibby to give it proper height. Works pretty well for me haha.

If you use light enough strings you might be able to use a strat string tree.

I may end up going the roller route. There was a guy on here that bought some stuff out of a misc box from a guy at a guitar show and used it as a string tree, come to find out, it was a drawer pull from home depot!
