spector bridges

dont get me wrong, I love Spector basses, but I HATE their bridges..... everytime i take my strings out the little "saddle-blocks" i guess you could call them just fall out, it also takes forever trying to fit them back in. and it takes forever to adjust the height, So my question is, could spector basses fit like a normal bridge?

here is a picture if your not sure what I meant.

If your saddle blocks are falling out, check the set screws on either side of the bridge. Give them a firm turn with an allen wrench to tighten them up a bit. Be careful when you do it. They are quite small and require a small wrench. You don't need to exert a lot of pressure; just until you feel some resistance.

thats the thing, im not sure that there are set screws, the only things I can turn with an allen wrench are in the two little holes on the actual saddle block, and all that does is make it taller or shorter for string height adjustment, and will still fall out if I take off the strings and turn the bass(not that I try to)

do you know if a normal 5 string bridge will fit into it?

It might be different from mine then. After all, yours is Euro, correct?

As far as what could actually fit on there, that would be someone else's call. I can't say for sure if anyone makes a direct replacement.

My Euros have a screw on the bottom side of the bridge to hold the saddles in place.
