Spector with wierd neck shape.

Spector Czech model, bolt on.

RW fretboard, maple 3 piece neck.

Looks nice and flat from 1-12 fret. Then drops DOWN from 12 to end of neck. Sort of like a hump at 12th fret.

Is this neck shot? I understand most truss rod adjustment only affect the 1-8 fret area.

Is this the kind of thing I'd need a neck reset for.

Not my bass, local for sale.

Interesting. I'd probably drop some addt'l relief into it, if given the chance, just to see if it assumes a more natural profile. Some necks do weird things when truss rods are overtightened.

Well, if it were mine, I'd tweak the TR as well. Since it's not, eh, I'm not that concerned. Maybe I could show it to the GC saleperson and save some dough.

That'd be great....provided they have a return policy should it prove to be an incurable defect.
