Sperzel Bass and Guitar Tuner Buttons - Are they interchangable?

I'm pretty sure the subject title asks it all.

Do the tuner buttons on Sperzel guitar tuners fit on Sperzel's bass tuners as well? I ask because I have a set of their bass tuners, and I'd like to get pearloid buttons (#2 buttons, to be exact) for them, but the only ones I can find label them as being for 3x3 tuners.

I don't know if they fit or not...but they'll certainly look funny on a bass. They'll be tiny...

I dunno... The buttons on my tuners and the pearloid ones I'm looking at are the same shape, but I don't know if they're the same size. This is for a 1960s Kent EB-2 copy I'm restoring. I thought the pearl would give it some extra vintage flair.
