Squier Affinity replacement machines:

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey everyone, I'm new to talkbass but i need some help sorting out a problem. I need to figure out what type of machines could be used on a squier affinity P Bass without having to bore out the hole or modify the bass in anyway. ANY help will be greatly apreciated.

I've written a few answers to this - but it all starts with what are the bobbin sizes of the existing machines you now have?

If you've got those really small ones, and they have the closed gear cases, then your usual option is to bore the holes out for larger bobbins.

Post the year or at least the serial number for better information and help.
