Squier P-Bass project

Hello! I just acquired a chaps P Bass off Ebay and I'm delighted with the feel and so forth. The finish is a bit nasty but I will get to that once all the electronics and hardware have been upgraded!

I'm thinking of installing these:-

Dimarzio P+J pickups (The standard ones not the ultras)
Gotoh 201 bridge
Graphtech nut

But,

I wondered where I can get volume and tone knobs combined for each pickup? I have seen a PJ bass on here that has it, just didn't know if it can be purchased and installed? I also wondered if I could get some new tuners as the ones on it are pretty heavy!

Any recommendations?

Many thanks

When I first got Hipshot ultralite tuners, I literally thought they'd screwed up the order and only sent me one, because the package was that light. 4 of them feel as light as one Schaller. It's a striking contrast.

As far as changing a bridge or a nut, those are things that go in my "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" category.

I didn't understand what you meant by "volume and tone combined for each" pup. Do you mean 4 knobs like a Les Paul? Or 3 like a Jazz Bass?

Those are the pots! Thank you

Yeah my bridge is old and rusty and so I have got the Gotoh 201 now. I like the neck on it but it feels a bit chunky. At some point in time I may order a new Jazz neck and get the whole PJ special vibe going.

Maybe Warmoth? I heard their necks are really heavy though?
