Squier P-bass special scratchplate

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello all; I have a great Squier bass which I've got just like I want it.

I'm looking for a tortoiseshell scratchplate for it.
I've hunted all over the net for one to fit without modification.
Fender pattern ones won't fit because of the jack plug being near where my third pot will be. But not quite.
Also the number, and position of fixing screws are wrong.

I'd be grateful if anyone here can point me to a supplier of Squier parts, especially scratchplates.

Thanks

you will probably need a custom one done. people dont really make squier pickguards, mainly because of the screw differences (there are also 3 or so different kind of Squier hole patters)

Thanks for your reply, that was what I thought would be the likely answer.
Alas I can't seem to find anyone worldwide who has Squier parts.

Squier made my scratchplate in white. I want one in tortoiseshell.
Not a bit demand surely.

After all I did true-up the neck, shield the cavities, replace the wiring and pots, replace the strings, fit DiMarzio pickups and set up the intonation.

A replacement scratchplate seems a small, little request surely.
