StewMac is definitely legit -- they are a well-known tool and supply provider for luthiers. I've ordered several items from that company over the years (finishing compound, a pickguard, components) and orders have always been accurate and arrived quickly.

That's a Gotoh folded steel plate standard bridge... not the high-mass cast model 201.

That is just a standard Fender style bridge. If you want a bridge like the 201 for under $20 then go with this one from Bass Parts Resource.

stew mac is definitely "legit", but i'm not so sure about the gotoh 201!

a customer brought one in to replace the stock bridge on his jaguar bass; not only is the spacing a little too narrow to line up perfectly with jazz bass magnets, the thing isn't even all that high-mass.

the raised back section that holds the strings and the intonation screw heads is actually hollow!

i'll take the jag's original threaded-saddle steel vintage bridge any day. (hell, i think it's a gotoh as well.)
