Stingray 5 B string ?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hmm, just busted out my SR5 after a few months away from it. Put on a new set of strings and all that. But I notice that when I play high up on the low B string, the notes "warble". In other words, they don't play a steady pitch. What do ya'll think of this? Maybe a bad string? Would bad intonation cause this? Fret ware?

Thanks

possibly band intonation or a bad string

maybe your action is too low and the string is slightly rattling on a fret?

try replacing the string

let us know if you get it fixed!
