Stingray clicking?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys. I have had a MusicMan Stingray for about 2 years and recently ive been getting some slight clicking when i play. it happens when my fingers hit the strings. ive never really been that happy with the overall sound...wanting something deeper. Has anyone ever had the same thing?...or can anyone suggest anything that could fix this problem. im thinking of taking it somewhere to get it set up, but would rather do it myself.

cheers

Also the stingray tends to have that click to its tone in general, try the setup thing , and turning treble down a bit.
